By working with a registered psychotherapist, clients can develop strategies to cope with pressures, build confidence, and achieve their goals both in sport and in life.

An internationally sought-after thought leader in the area of Sport Therapy, Dr. Lowell Greib is an accomplished athlete, speaker, professor, and practitioner. Dr. Greib raced as a professional ultra-distance mountain biker while completing both his degree in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology, and his graduate research in analytical chemistry at the University of Waterloo. During his 4 years of medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, he founded (and subsequently directed) the Sports Medicine Program for the college, now widely accepted as the gold standard for naturopathic Sport Therapy training across Canada.

Dr. Greib continues to lecture at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, National University of Natural Medicine, and the University of West Indies in Bridgetown, Barbados. For the last decade, Dr. Greib has served as Medical Director for the Goodlife Fitness Toronto Marathon and The Limberlost Challenge Ultra Trail race. Upon his recent completion of a 9 year term with the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors we was awarded the Dr. Verna Hunt award for his exemplary service to his profession and service, including 5 years as Chair of the Board.

Born and raised in Muskoka, Rosie embraced sport participation at a young age. She achieved high performance as a hockey goal-tender and was recruited to the North Bay Ice Boltz Midget AA team while she finished her high school diploma at BMLSS. Her hockey skill and drive abilities led to a scholarship at Liberty University in Virginia for three years, where she was recognized as an All-American. After suffering from an injury, Rosie became passionate in sport rehabilitation and strength and conditioning. Rosie returned to Canada and to finish her bachelors degree in Kinesiology at the Ontario Tech University. Rosie is now a registered kinesiologist with the CKO and holds certifications with Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. Rosie continues to work as a high performance hockey technical coach and a strength and conditioning expert while studying medicine at the CCNM. Furthermore, Rosie is developing her clinical skills by facilitating fuelling, strength and conditioning programming strategies with The SportLab.

Dr. Katherine Ahokas is a highly esteemed lecturer, curriculum developer, and sport therapy practitioner, whose professional expertise has been sought by educational institutions across Canada. Dr. Ahokas competed at the National Level for British Columbia’s Provincial Soccer Team. While completing her degree in Biochemistry from the University of Victoria played varsity soccer. It was during her 4 years of medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Ahokas trained for her first competitive marathon. Dr. Ahokas has previously developed Sport Performance Nutrition Curriculum for Camosun College in Victoria, BC, and currently lectures at Georgian College, teaching the “Clinical Diagnosis and Medical Terminology” course that she developed.

Dr. Ahokas continues to compete in both local and international level events, including the Phoenix, Victoria, and Boston Marathons. She currently acts as coach for the Muskoka Algonquin Runners.
